Registered Office Address in Worcester

Our registered office address service at £144 + VAT per year includes a virtual office address and all the requirements of a registered office address. It is available on an annual renewable basis – January to December. If you join part way through a year you will be charged pro-rata for a whole number of months to the following December. If you join in Q4 (after 1st October) we will invoice you to the end of the following year, and then on 1st January thereafter.

If you would like to use our communal facilities as well you will need to buy a Business Lounge Pass. This can be done on either a day-visit or annual pass basis.

Requirements for a Registered Office

The registered office is the address to which government bodies – primarily Companies House and HMRC but also other agencies – may address official communications, notices and reminders relating to the company.

The address must be effective which means the address must be accessible and people should be able to post formal notices (that can be signed for) to the company at the address. It is assumed that any official notice sent to the company’s registered office address has been received by the company. It’s the company’s responsibility to ensure they have access to documents received at this address.

The company registers must be held at the registered office for inspection unless an alternative address has been provided to Companies House. It is acceptable to hold electronic records.

The company name must be displayed at the registered office. It is common for a name plaque to be used for this purpose but you can use your own signage near the entrance to meet this requirement.

Important Notes

Please note for registered companies and LLPs using this service we will require proof of identity of the directors – typically a copy of your passport or driving licence – and a utility bill or similar for proof of address. Please note fees are non-refundable should you stop using the service during the pre-paid period.

About our address services

We aim to provide an economic solution to virtual and registered office address needs and to do this we only operate on an annual basis. This means that when you join us you pay for a year at a time. If you join part way through a year we charge you for the whole number of months to 31st December, and then annually on 1st January thereafter. If you join in Q4 (from 1st October onwards) we will charge you the remainder of that year plus all of the next year to 31st December. You can leave at any time but if you leave part way through a year there is no refund of fees already paid.

As a provider of address services we are required to be registered with HMRC for the purposes of the prevention of fraud and money laundering. Our registration number is XRML00000175032 in the name of Worcester Business Services Limited.

We offer address services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in the Worcester area in order that they can integrate their operations into one seamless address, and use our hot-desk, meeting room and serviced office facilities if required. Please note we do not offer this service to foreign companies or those way out-of-area looking to have a virtual Worcester presence because this may lead to confusion amongst the public and a stream of callers to our offices.

When you apply for a virtual or registered office address we will arrange a call to talk through your situation. We will also ask for you to bring your original documents in for us to make copies. It is just part of the standard process we are required to carry out.
